CPK is not bad at all. Carmella's has changed recently and unfortunately for the worst. the last two pizzas we got there were dreadful!
As of today.....
Pusateri's in Stuart (on East Ocean Blvd, across from the court house) is the best pizza in Stuart!

I had a Pustari"s pie and then went home and had the greatest sex of my life.
I was a little scared however. I was all by myself.

The BEST pizza in Florida

The day we discovered and ate at Pustateri Chicago Pizza was the best day we've had since moving to Florida. It is really the absolute BEST pizza in all of Florida. The Pusateri family if from the burbs of Chicago and definitely know how to make a mean Chicago style pizza. They fly in their ingredients fresh from Chicago and the sausage they use is out of this world! They also offer Chicago style hot dogs and beef, another hard to find treasure in Florida. Extermenly friendly Midwest owners. They are located in a small, clean diner across he street from the court house in Stuart, Hoping they open up a second location down near West palm but well worth the drive. Seriously it is the BEST pizza in all of Florida! Highly, highly recommend.

Pros: Fresh genuine CHICAGO style pizza, friendly midwesterners
Cons: None

April 24, 2005BEST PIZZA I FOUND IN WHOLE STATE OF FLA!!

By Yahoo! Reviewer

Pros: Unique and Outstanding Food, Great Family Run Business, serves Seattles Best Coffees

Cons: Not very big place. Get Your Table Quick on Fridays or in the dinner rush. Pizza needs to be eaten right out of the oven to appreciate their product.

If you miss good pizza and live or visit in Florida then you know where I am coming from. What is it about this state and good pizza? Well look no further it's here. I went to Pusateri's and YES they cut it in squares and thats not all. They use cheese and sauce without the loaf of bread. It's thin and crispy. The sausage is a family recipe and shipped in from Chicago so close your eyes and you will not be sorry. Best pizza I have had in 14 years since living down here. Chicago Beefs and Vienna hot Dogs Too. Info: Pusateri's in Stuart FLA at 221 E. Ocean Blvd. and worth the trip if you live far away. 772-288-9810
Owners are John and Pam and are from Chicago.

I am from Chicago and moved to Florida two years ago and let me tell you I was deeply disappointed with the Pizza representation around here. I know that coming from Chicago, home of the BEST pizza but me at a disadvantage, but I was determinted to find discent pizza. I have been to several so called Chicago style pizza places and let me tell you it was disgraceful! Still determined my sister and I decided to try Pusateri's one evening and boy were we impressed! We went back with other family memebers the very next day! The sausage is wonderful and meatball and onion is fabulous. I would recommend this pizza to anyone!

Read about Pusateri's in a newspaper write-up. We are sausage lovers and their sausage recipe is one of the best we have tasted, (HERE or CHICAGO!!) Finally something different for us Floridians.

I am from New York and was meeting friends at a New York Pizza place in Stuart, problem is there are like 100 of them and they didn't give me an address and told me to just go down east ocean and I would see it. I stopped in Pusateri's Pizza and when I walked in it wasn't New York it was Chicago. The owner was at the counter and I explained that I was at the wrong place. She laughed and smiled and was very nice so after I saw a pizza come out to another table (never saw one like it), I decided to call my friends and stay here. All I can say is that it is addicting and I have never tasted anything like it, it's in a league of its own. My friends now only go to Pusateri's after they tried this pizza. When I come to visit, this is my first stop when I get off the plane. Family run atmosphere makes it really a pleasure.

I was really surprised to finally get REAL pizza down here. We've been here 25 years and have had it with all the pizza in Florida. We gave up years ago, until now. Restaurant is small but also has a back terrace that is nice. The people are so friendly which is a treat in itself. Food can't be beat. Best sausage and veggie pizza. Sauce is incredible. You gotta check it out if you are craving real pizza from home (Chicago area). Also have beer, a must-have with pizza, and wine. The place is small, but very cute and extremely clean. I'm picky about that. I had a hard time finding parking at lunch, but then learned they have parking behind the place and plenty of it at night. Ital beef is great. The only problem is deciding what I wanted to eat each time. Now they have the Chgo hotdogs. Thank God for this place. Now I don't have to spend a fortune on shipping pizza in!!!

Best thin crust pizza
By fisherman 02/13/06

A fairly new, family run pizza joint in Stuart! John and Pam "Pusateri's Thin Crust Pizza" is one of the best pizza places I have found in Florida. They fly their sausage from Chicago, use the best cheese, the sauce is perfect, and the crust is excellent. We like crispy crust and they can deliver on request. They also sell frozen pizza to take home. They are diagonally across from the Martin Co. court house on Ocean Blvd.

Pusateri's Pizza Rocks!!!
By HungryGirl 03/18/06

I read the comment regarding Pusateri's thin Chicago Pizza restaurant and was immediately intrigued by the statement, "best pizza in Florida". I looked them up online and found their website: http://www.bestfloridapizza.com/
I looked over the menu online and my tummy growled. I convinced my boyfriend to drive to Stuart tonight so we could try out this "best pizza".
I knew it was good, when my honey took his first bite and said, "Wow!" That reaction from this picky eater was all the confirmation I needed to realize this really is the best pizza in Florida.
The pizza has a thin crust, but still manages to be chewy, the way pizza should be. The pepperoni and sausage each have their own pleasant and wonderful flavors and the sauce is a little bit sweet, offering the perfect contrast to the meats. We chatted up the owners and learned that they make their own dough and sauce.
We not only took home our leftover pizzas(we had to try 2), but we also bought a frozen pizza to cook at home and some garlic bites for our sunday pasta. This was definitely worth the trip!

Still waiting to find something in Florida equal too or greater than a pie bought in NY or Chicago. 20 years and I'm still searching.

Wake up Ron! Pusateri's opened about 6 months ago in Stuart, Ocean Blvd, right across form the courthouse. The owners are from Chicago, and they even have their meats and sauce shipped directly from Chicago. They're my favorite now.

I am a PSL resident. I read that D. Cooper and Minsky wanted to "boycott" the Martin County businesses, BUT Pusateri's pizza was calling me, as was TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Circuit City and a slew of other businesses.....why go to Vero when these businesses are right around the corner? Besides, Pusateri's doesn't have a location in Vero - - there's only one and it is located in Stuart and well worth the drive!

Would I follow "the 800-pound gorilla" and the "sovering nation" to boycott Martin County? NOT ON YOUR LIFE - - these 2 buffoons couldn't lead a duck to water.

Hopefully, the citizens of PSL will elect at least 3 new council members in November that have enough common sense and decency to work with our surrounding neighbors. And also hopefully, the newly seated council members will see that the "800-pound gorilla" needs a new cage in a different city and sends him packing.
